PAIS Lab semiar:Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)

At the session of our seminar, Kirill Samokhvalov and Nikolai Sidiropulo (Master's students at the HSE CS Faculty) delivered a report "Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)".

Abstract:
BMPN (Business Process Model and Notation) is a system of symbols used for representation of business processes in the form of diagrams. The main purpose of BPMN is to create a modeling standard understandable by all business users. The report examines the main language constructs and their application and available tools supporting these elemets. Moreover, the report provides an overview of application of the notation in order to determine the most commonly used BPMN elements.
